The Diamondbacks sent Snyder, Minor League infielder Pedro Ciriaco and cash considerations to the Pirates in exchange for right-hander D.J. Carrasco, outfielder Ryan Church and infielder Bobby Crosby.
The deal was approved by the Commissioner’s Office on Saturday, JUly 31st.

The Arizona Diamondbacks have traded right-handed pitcher Edwin Jackson to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for right-handed pitcher Dan Hudson; and minor league left-handed pitcher David Holmberg. Jackson pitched a no-hitter for Arizona, the second in the team’s history, on June 25, 2010.

Sunday July 25, 2010 the Arizona Diamondbacks traded right handed starting pitcher Dan Haren to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. In return the Diamondbacks will receive veteran southpaw Joe Saunders; as well as two young pitchers – Rafael Rodriquez and southpaw Patrick Corbin, along with a player to be named later. Current speculation indicates the player to be named might be Tyler Skaggs, an Angels 2009 Draft Selection.
